Fever...How to bring it down naturally

Many users of essential oils have wonderful success with using peppermint to bring down a fever. Adding lavender is even better, and can bring calmness to the person suffering which can always help someone who is ill.
Here are some ways you can do it...
- Dilute it in V-6 oil or olive oil and apply to the feet. You may not need to dilute it, although with little ones especially it helps to dilute it first to see how they do with it. This seems to be the most popular method, and you can add a drop or two of lavender as stated above.
- Put 2-4 drops in a bowl of lukewarm water and sponge bath around the abdomen and neck.
- Put a drop in a cup of hot water or herbal tea and drink it.

Peppermint is one of those essential oils that is helpful for many common ailments, such as headache, upset stomach, respiratory issues, tiredness, bad breath and even hunger. Make sure you have a bottle of peppermint oil on hand, and you might be able to avoid many other over the counter drugs.
